Service Description

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer science fiction—it’s shaping how we live, learn, and work. This course introduces students aged 11–18 to the fascinating world of AI through practical, age-appropriate projects that make this advanced field accessible, engaging, and thought-provoking. Students will explore how AI systems think, learn, and make decisions. Using tools like Teachable Machine, Scratch AI extensions, and basic Python-based AI libraries, learners are guided through interactive challenges that bring the core principles of AI to life. They’ll experiment with image recognition, chatbot creation, voice interaction, and classification algorithms—all while building a deeper understanding of how machines interpret data and automate decisions. Alongside hands-on learning, we embed important discussions around ethics, bias, data privacy, and AI’s role in society. Our tutors encourage critical thinking about the technology we use every day—what it can do, what it should do, and what we need to watch out for. Key learning outcomes include: -Understanding machine learning basics (training data, classification, pattern recognition) -Creating simple AI models and logic systems -Exploring the power and limitations of algorithms -Identifying bias in data and model outcomes -Understanding the role of AI in automation, education, and creativity As students progress, we introduce text-based AI projects using Python, exploring how AI powers tools like ChatGPT, recommendation engines, and smart assistants. More advanced learners can experiment with libraries such as TensorFlow Lite, depending on course length and ability. This course suits students who are curious about how technology works beneath the surface—and who want to explore not just how to use AI, but how to build and evaluate it. Whether your child is interested in coding, ethics, design, or the future of work, this course will open doors to exciting, forward-facing possibilities. If you require one-to-one classes for your child, contact us directly at 0333 444 0111 to speak with a principal tutor. We’re here to guide your family through the digital learning journey.
