Service Description
Blockly Coding is the ideal starting point for children who are new to programming. This course introduces the fundamental concepts of coding using highly visual, drag-and-drop platforms such as Blockly and Scratch—designed to be intuitive, colourful, and instantly rewarding. It's perfect for young learners aged 8–11 who want to explore how software works in a playful, pressure-free environment.
Through engaging, hands-on projects, students learn core computational thinking skills like sequencing, loops, conditionals, events, and variables without needing to type a single line of code. By piecing together logic blocks like puzzle pieces, students quickly begin building simple games, animations, and interactive stories—fueling both their logical reasoning and their imagination.
Each session is structured to balance creativity with problem-solving. Our experienced tutors guide students through fun challenges, helping them debug, improve, and refine their projects. Along the way, learners develop resilience and a growth mindset, understanding that mistakes are part of the creative process.

Cancellation Policy
- Clients must notify Halo Tuition Academy of cancellations via email at office@halotuition.co.uk.
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the class will receive a 100% refund on the deposit paid.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the class will not be eligible for a refund.
- If a class is cancelled by Halo Tuition Academy, an extra-help session will be arranged as a replacement.
