Service Description
In an age where young people are more connected than ever, understanding cyber security is essential—not just for safety, but for confidence and digital independence. This course introduces students aged 10–18 to the core principles of cyber security in a clear, age-appropriate, and practical way.
Rather than overwhelming learners with jargon, we focus on real-world scenarios and interactive challenges that teach students how to think like a security expert. They explore how to spot threats, protect personal data, and develop healthy online habits that will serve them for life.
Key areas of learning include creating strong, secure passwords and understanding encryption, identifying phishing, scams, and suspicious links, safe browsing practices and secure online research, understanding cyberbullying, privacy, and digital etiquette, exploring how hackers exploit vulnerabilities—and how to prevent it, and using two-factor authentication, firewalls, and basic antivirus tools.
For more advanced learners, we introduce foundational knowledge in network security, data protection laws (GDPR), and ethical hacking through sandboxed, tutor-guided environments. Students also explore how organisations defend themselves, and what careers in cyber security can look like.
This course isn't just about keeping students safe—it's about empowering them to make smart choices, think critically, and be proactive digital citizens. The skills learned here apply to their academic lives, social interactions, and any digital project they build in the future.

Cancellation Policy
- Clients must notify Halo Tuition Academy of cancellations via email at office@halotuition.co.uk.
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the class will receive a 100% refund on the deposit paid.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the class will not be eligible for a refund.
- If a class is cancelled by Halo Tuition Academy, an extra-help session will be arranged as a replacement.
