Service Description

In this hands-on course, students explore the exciting world of Robotics and Electronics by building and programming their own working devices. Designed for learners aged 10–18, this course blends creativity, problem-solving, and real-world engineering skills using accessible, age-appropriate hardware and software tools. Using popular platforms like Arduino, micro:bit, and Raspberry Pi, students dive into core electronics and coding concepts. They learn to connect circuits, power components, and write programs that respond to sensor input—bringing their inventions to life. Learners build projects such as: -Motion-detecting alarms -Light-activated switches -Line-following or obstacle-avoiding robots -Step counters and wearable tech -Programmable LED displays and sound modules Through these builds, they explore key STEM topics including: -Input/output control -Loops, logic gates, and conditional programming -Voltage, resistance, and basic circuit theory -Environmental sensors (temperature, motion, light) -Servos, motors, and automation control As students progress, they move from pre-set tasks to designing their own projects—solving problems through trial and error, teamwork, and guided exploration. Our experienced tutors help them develop not just technical skills but also confidence, perseverance, and creative thinking. This course also introduces the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) and encourages students to consider how embedded technology is shaping our homes, cities, and workplaces. For more advanced students, we offer optional pathways into Python scripting on Raspberry Pi or robotic control systems using AI. No prior knowledge is required—just curiosity and a desire to learn how everyday electronics power the world around us. Students leave with practical knowledge they can build on for careers in engineering, tech, automation, or design. If you require one-to-one classes for your child, contact us directly at 0333 444 0111 to speak with a principal tutor. We’re here to guide your family through the digital learning journey.
