Service Description

Step into the future of digital creativity with our Virtual and Augmented Reality with Game Design course—where students aged 11–18 learn to create, code, and explore immersive experiences. This exciting course blends imagination, storytelling, and technology as learners build their own interactive games and virtual environments using the same tools powering today’s most innovative experiences. Students begin by exploring the foundations of game design—what makes games fun, engaging, and meaningful. They learn how to develop characters, levels, rules, and storylines using visual design techniques and simple logic. With platforms like Unity, CoSpaces, and Tinkercad AR, they begin bringing their ideas to life in 3D. Key skills covered include: -World-building and level layout using spatial design principles -Creating interactive objects, triggers, and animations -Using basic scripting logic for movement, collision, and events -Integrating assets like sound, models, and textures -Publishing projects that can be viewed on phones, tablets, and VR headsets As students progress, they learn to design for both virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), understanding how user experience (UX) changes between the two. This includes experimenting with headset-based viewing, mobile-based AR, and browser-based simulations. They also explore how VR/AR is used in industries beyond entertainment—such as healthcare, architecture, and education. The course encourages both creative thinking and technical skill. Whether a student wants to be a game designer, an artist, a coder, or just explore new digital formats, our tutors support their personal goals and interests. Advanced learners may be introduced to C# scripting in Unity or explore logic with visual scripting tools like Bolt. Students leave this course not only with a finished project but with a new sense of what they can create—and what the future might look like when they’re the ones designing it. If you require one-to-one classes for your child, contact us directly at 0333 444 0111 to speak with a principal tutor. We’re here to guide your family through the digital learning journey.
